xPower v1.0
The first version of xPower was released in March 1999 as a desktop-based business accounting application. It was developed to help businesses simplify invoicing, accounting, inventory control and day-to-day financial management. This marked the beginning of what would later grow into a complete business management platform used by companies across multiple industries.

Growing Together With Our Customers As the number of xPower customers increased, Powersoft expanded its operations and strengthened its development and customer support teams. The experience gained from working closely with different types of businesses helped us continuously improve xPower and introduce features based on practical business requirements.

By July 2004, Powersoft had grown to a team of 38 talented employees, strengthening xPower development and customer support.
xPower Moves to the Cloud
The Introduction of xPower Cloud In 2016, Powersoft introduced the cloud-based version of xPower. This was an important milestone that enabled customers to access their business information more conveniently while benefiting from centralized data management, improved accessibility and regular system updates. The move to the cloud also allowed xPower to support businesses with multiple branches and users more effectively.
Expanding Across Sri Lanka
Growing Our Service Network As our customer base continued to grow, Powersoft expanded its service operations to support businesses in different parts of Sri Lanka. A dedicated presence was established in the Central Province, followed by further expansion in Kalutara in 2021. This growth helped us provide implementation, training and customer support closer to our customers.
Growing Beyond Sri Lanka
Serving Businesses in International Markets xPower later expanded beyond Sri Lanka, supporting customers in overseas markets including Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Our international customers operate across industries such as retail, textiles, hardware and distribution. This expansion continues as Powersoft develops xPower to meet the needs of businesses operating in different markets.
